一 |     Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday's latest film, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, which released on Christmas, has showcased a decent performance at the box office. Even with stiff competition from Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar and James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash, the movie secured a strong opening and is expected to gather further momentum throughout the weekend.           As per the most recent update from Sacnilk, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri earned Rs 8.46 crore on its opening day. The film experienced an overall audience attendance of 34.56% on its first day. Evening screenings registered the highest attendance at 41.36%, with night shows closely following at 40.23%. Afternoon shows reported a turnout of 38.48%, while morning shows had the lowest attendance at 18.18%.          The opening day box office performance of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is notably lower in comparison to Kartik Aaryan's previous theatrical releases. For instance, his 2022 Diwali film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, achieved an opening day collection of Rs 14.11 crore, and Love Aaj Kal 2 earned Rs 12.4 crore on its opening day. In contrast, Satyaprem Ki Katha, which was also directed by Sameer Vidwans, collected Rs 9.25 crore on its opening day.           Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions, in collaboration with Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Bhumika Tewari, and Shareen Mantri Kedia and Kishor Arora of Namah Pictures. The movie is directed by Sameer Vidwans, who previously directed Satyaprem Ki Katha (2023).           This project marks Kartik Aaryan's first collaboration with Dharma Productions and his second with Namah Pictures and director Sameer Vidwans, after Satyaprem Ki Katha. On December 15, the makers submitted a revised version of the film to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). According to reports, the film's certified runtime is 145 minutes and 41 seconds, which is equivalent to 2 hours, 25 minutes, and 41 seconds.           The story is based on two main characters who encounter each other during a vacation and eventually end up staying in the same location. Their initial friendship gradually evolves into a romantic relationship, before taking an emotional turn. Following a magnitude 7.4 powerful earthquake that struck Colombia on Monday local time and left hundreds dead and injured, the Chinese Embassy in Colombia said early Tuesday that it has yet to receive reports of casualties among Chinese nationals.
In a post published on its official WeChat public account, the Chinese Embassy in Colombia said it attaches great importance to the safety of Chinese nationals in Colombia and activated its emergency response mechanism immediately to conduct a comprehensive check on the impact of the disaster on Chinese nationals. 
So far, no information about Chinese casualties has been received, the embassy said.
According to the Colombian Geological Service, the quake struck at 7:34 am local time in western Colombia. Its epicenter was near San Jose del Palmar, in the department of Choco, at a depth of 96 km, the Xinhua News Agency reported.
The death toll from the earthquake has risen to 111 nationwide, with 87 others injured, Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella said in Bogota, per Xinhua.
The Chinese Embassy in Colombia also reminded Chinese nationals in Colombia to stay highly vigilant against secondary earthquake hazards including aftershocks and public health risks.
It also advised those encountering emergencies to promptly contact local police and reach out to the embassy for assistance. 
The Colombian government earlier Monday declared a state of national disaster to respond to the impact of the earthquake, Xinhua reported.
The quake comes less than two months after twin quakes devastated the north of Venezuela, killing more than 6,300 people, the BBC reported, adding that "it is one of its largest earthquakes in years."
